Game description

Hangman hides a word behind blank spaces and invites you to guess one letter at a time. Correct letters fill every matching slot; wrong letters cost one of six mistakes and advance a simple stick-figure sketch. Guessed letters stay listed so you do not repeat them, and reusing a letter does nothing. Spell the full word before the figure completes and you win; exhaust the mistake budget and start fresh with New Game. The tone stays playful while quietly encouraging letter frequency thinking and careful reading of partial words. Vowels and common consonants are sensible early probes when the blanks still hide most of the answer.

Type a letter in the box and press Guess or submit the field. Keyboard entry keeps desktop play fast, and tap-friendly controls cover letters when a mouse is not handy. New Game swaps targets so curiosity never stalls on one stump that stopped being fun ten guesses ago. Partial reveals act as morphology hints when two words still fit the visible pattern, nudging you toward discriminators instead of random shots. Double-check before committing when only one or two mistakes remain. There is nothing to install: open the page in your browser whenever you want a classic word puzzle.
