How to play
- Each puzzle is four numbers in an arithmetic sequence: the gap between neighbours is always the same (e.g. 2, 5, 8, 11 → next is 14).
- The line ends with “?”. Enter the next number in the field, then press Submit.
- Correct answers increase your Score. After a miss, the true value is shown so you can verify the step you missed.
- Press Next pattern for a new sequence. Submit the current answer first if you still want it counted.
Game description
Pattern Recognition presents short lists of numbers in a steady arithmetic sequence—the gap between neighbors stays the same throughout. Each line ends with a question mark; enter the next term, submit, and see whether your prediction matches the rule. Correct answers raise your score, and after a miss the true value appears so you can verify the step you overlooked. Next pattern brings a fresh sequence when you are ready to move on. Submit the current answer first if you still want credit for it. The task is less about memorizing formulas and more about spotting the constant step hiding in plain sight.
The pace favors honest reasoning over lucky guesses. Misreads teach you something when you adjust the model instead of brute forcing digits until something sticks. Opening the game in a browser means teachers, tutors, and curious players can run a quick drill mid-conversation without installing math software or signing into a platform. Over time you build a mental checklist: compare gaps, test one step forward, then commit. Confidence grows from proof, not from guessing faster than you can think. There is nothing to install: open the page in your browser whenever you want a number-sequence workout. No downloads, accounts, or waiting required.
